The project aims to facilitate, through active policy pathways consisting of “integrated packages” of services, the accompaniment and socio-work inclusion of third-country nationals or stateless persons in the transition to full autonomy and integration in the local communities where they apply to live.

The overall objective of the System Action is to contribute to the improvement of the levels of employability and autonomy of vulnerable migrants who are third-country nationals, strengthening the collaboration between public and private actors in various capacities involved in the process of their insertion within the Italian social and labor fabric.

In fact, the active policy pathways promoted can help reduce the mismatch between labor supply and demand by making up for the general difficulties of Italian companies in finding personnel, especially with respect to specific sectors and/or jobs.

In this sense, the initiative also supports the growth processes of our entrepreneurial system, supporting paths of “positive” inclusion of recipients.

The recipients of the social and labor insertion and integration pathways under this measure are:

  • holders of international, temporary and special protection;
  • asylum seekers;
  • recognized stateless persons;
  • Victims of trafficking and/or severe exploitation, illicit brokering and labor exploitation, and/or gender-based violence;
  • Unaccompanied Alien Minors (MSNA) in transition to adulthood, who are 16 years of age or older and have completed compulsory education;
  • Young Migrants (GMs) who are under 24 years of age provided they entered Italy or recognized after entry as unaccompanied minors, regularly staying in the country.

All recipients must be unemployed or unemployed at the time of free enrollment. Furthermore, the recipients of the courses will not be able to participate simultaneously in other active policy courses which provide for the recognition of financial benefits.

Participants (recipients) will be taken on a training course and placed as trainees within the local business fabric (on-the-job training course of min 4 hours to max 6 hours per day).

The integrated pathways of social-work placement will be organized in the form of in-person training + extracurricular internship, articulated as follows:

  • Reception;
  • Intake (4 hours of training);
  • Specialist orientation (16 hours of training);
  • Extracurricular internship (6 months at local companies);
  • Educational-organizational tutoring (to be done during internship period outside the hours of the internship);
  • Company tutoring (during the internship by the tutor of the Host Organization);
  • Short final training (after internship).

Internship allowance for participants (recipients): € 560 monthly (for 6 months).

Allowance for Host Subject € 640.
